BACK CHANNEL BREWING CO. HOSTS HALLOWEEN TRUNK OR TREAT

Spring Park, MN – Back Channel Brewing Co. will host its second annual Trunk or Treat from 1pm – 4pm on Sunday, October 31, Halloween day. Car trunks of small businesses, local organizations and families will be decorated, and children dress up in costume and “trick or treat” by going from car trunk to car trunk in the parking lot. The event is free and open to the public.

Andrew and Tiffany Beitler of Minnesota My Home Real Estate Group will be a sponsor again this year handing out candy and goodies to kids and families.

This year’s event will be bigger and better with more trunks and Halloween festivities and will be located in the Back Channel Brewing and Marina Center parking lots at 4787 Shoreline Drive in Spring Park. Trunk or treating will start at the Back Channel Brewing tent and families will line up from the tent back to the Marina center storefronts. Children must be attended by an adult. Parking is available throughout the entire Marina Center parking lot.

Event details include:

• 30 sponsor trunks including local organizations and families 
• Food trucks Parlour and Burnt Chicken  
• Awards and prizes for the best costumes and decorated trunks
• “Fill the Trunk” for the Westonka Food Shelf
• Kids Monster Mash Dance Party on the A(rrow) turf lawn
• Games for kids
• Traci Bea Photographie taking candid photos
• Photo station for families

Participants are encouraged to bring items to “fill the trunk” for the Westonka Food Shelf. Items most in need are healthy snacks, jars of spaghetti sauce, chunky soups, tomato sauce, and personal hygiene products. Cash donations will also be accepted. 

Back Channel Brewing will be open from 12pm – 7pm. 

Melissa Leddy, Co-Owner, is planning the event. “Last year we were blown away by the number of families that came to the event and expect even more this year. It’s a festive community event that’s fun for the whole family.”
